We work in partnership with parents to promote self -confidence, self-esteem, independence and a love of learning in an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment.

About Magheradroll Nursery Unit

Magheradroll Nursery Unit is a single nursery unit situated within the main school building of St Patrick’s Primary School.  The spacious and well equipped unit within the main school building of St Patrick’s can cater for 52 part-time places, 26 in the morning and 26 in the afternoon.  It operates under the school management but is a stand alone unit with its own separate entrance and excellent playing facilities.  The staff is comprised of a nursery teacher and one nursery assistant.

We see our role as one of complementing the home and assisting parents in the Christian Education of their child.  We believe that every child is special and our aim is to educate the whole child in a warm, caring atmosphere where his/her social, emotional, physical, intellectual, creative and spiritual needs will be met by a dedicated and caring staff.  Children will be given a broad range of experience within the Nursery Curriculum which will help them to develop their knowledge, skills, self-esteem, confidence and respect for others and their environment.
