Aims of the School

Our school philosophy provides an overall framework for general and more specific whole school aims, and is the foundation from which all aspects of our school community develop.

  • To create a believing community, living daily the Catholic way of life
  • To create high standards of learning experiences for all children, providing access to all areas of the Northern Ireland Curriculum
  • To create a lively and stimulating learning environment that is exciting today, as well as a preparation for the future

  • To create a ‘feel good’ factor, so that each individual feels good about themselves, about what they do and about the school.

In St Patrick’s Primary School we challenge, motivate, and inspire in a happy, safe and stimulating learning environment where all members of the school community are valued, grow in the Catholic faith, develop their self-esteem and achieve their full potential as a unique individual so that they can play a valuable role in society.
